     Elizabeth Trevannion is the daughter of Sir Hugh Trevannion and Sybilla Morgan.1 She married Robert Carey, 1st Earl of Monmouth, son of Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon of Hunsdon and Ann Morgan, on 20 August 1593 at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England.
     From 20 August 1593, her married name became Carey.1
