     Bamfylde Drake was born on 12 April 1670 at Buckland Monachorum, Devon, England.1 He was the son of Joseph Drake and Margaret Crymes.1,2 He married Katherine Stone, daughter of Richard Stone and Katherine Strange, on 8 May 1692 at West Hamney, Berkshire, England.2 He died circa June 1729.1 He was buried on 20 June 1729 at Farway, Devon, England.1
     Bamfylde Drake graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1693 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was the Rector between 1700 and 1729 at Farway, Devon, England.1
