     Jane Bamfeild was born in 1580. She was the daughter of John Bamfeild and Elizabeth Drake. She married Sir Francis Drake, 1st Bt. on 22 September 1602. She died on 26 February 1612/13 at Buckland Monachorum.
     From 22 September 1602, her married name became Drake.
