     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War.1

Arnold Ramsay Keppel and Laura Margaret Martin, on 5 October 1948 at St. James Church, Spanish Place, London, EnglandG.1,5 He died on 1 August 2003 at age 80.5

     Laura Margaret Martin was the daughter of Hugh Martin.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Arnold Ramsay Keppel, son of Lt.-Col. Edward George Keppel and Mary Cecilia Georgiana King, on 7 November 1922.1 She married, secondly, Sir Richard Arthur Pease, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Arthur Francis Pease, 1st Bt. and Laura Matilda Ethelwyn Alix, on 19 April 1961.1 She died on 19 December 1983.2
     From 7 November 1922, her married name became Keppel. From 19 April 1961, her married name became Pease.

     Lady Emily Theresa Villiers was born on 9 September 1843 at Grosvenor Crescent, London, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of George William Villiers, 4th Earl of Clarendon and Lady Katherine Grimston.1 She married Odo William Leopold Russell, 1st Baron Ampthill, son of Maj.-Gen. Lord Sir George William Russell and Elizabeth Anne Rawdon, on 5 May 1868 at Watford, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 22 February 1927 at age 83.2
     Her married name became Russell. After her marriage, Lady Emily Theresa Villiers was styled as Baroness Ampthill on 11 March 1881. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Victoria between 1885 and 1901.1 She was appointed Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.) 3rd class.1
