Susanna Wales was the daughter of James Wales.1 She married Sir Charles Warre Malet, 1st Bt., son of Reverend Alexander Malet and Anne St. Lo, on 23 September 1799.1 She died on 21 December 1868.1

Sir Alexander Malet, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 July 1800.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Warre Malet, 1st Bt. and Susanna Wales.2 He married Mary Anne Dora Spalding, daughter of John Spalding and Mary Anne Eden, on 22 December 1834.1 He died on 28 November 1886 at age 86.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Malet [G.B., 1791] on 15 December 1815.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Wiltshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1866.1 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the Germanic Conference of Frankfurt.1 He held the office of Minister Plenipotentiary to Hesse-Cassel, Hesse-Darmstadt and Nassau in 1886.1

Mary Anne Dora Spalding was the daughter of John Spalding and Mary Anne Eden.2,1 She married Sir Alexander Malet, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Charles Warre Malet, 1st Bt. and Susanna Wales, on 22 December 1834.1 She died on 2 January 1891.1

Sir Henry Charles Eden Malet, 3rd Bt. was born on 25 September 1835.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Malet, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Dora Spalding.2 He married Laura Jane Campbell Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, on 19 February 1873.1 He died on 12 January 1904 at age 68, without male issue.1
