     Arthur Rolestop Christian was born on 15 January 1919 at Norfolk Island.2 He was the son of Charles James Christian and Constance Glennie.2 He married Violet Jessie Begg, daughter of George A. Begg and Jessie F. I. Wilson, in 1950 at Petersham, New South Wales, Australia.1 He died on 19 November 1997 at age 78.1

     Ansbury Glennie Christian also went by the nick-name of Jim.2
