     Rt. Hon. Stephen Rumbold Lushington was born in May 1776 at Rodmersham, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Reverend James Stephen Lushington and Mary Christian.1 He married Mary Anne Hearne, daughter of George Hearne.1 He married Hon. Anne Elizabeth Harris, daughter of George Harris, 1st Baron Harris of Seringapatam and Mysore and Anne Dickson, on 9 December 1797 at Belmont, Kent, England.2 He died on 5 August 1868 at age 92.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).1 He held the office of Junior Secretary of the Treasury between 7 January 1814 and 7 February 1823.2 He held the office of Secretary of the Treasury between 7 February 1823 and 19 April 1827.2 He held the office of Governor of Madras between 18 October 1827 and 25 October 1832.2

Stephen Rumbold Lushington, son of Reverend James Stephen Lushington and Mary Christian, on 9 December 1797 at Belmont, Kent, England.3 She died on 25 March 1856.4
      From 9 December 1797, her married name became Lushington.4

     Stephen George Lushington was born on 14 January 1782 at South Hill Park, Berkshire, England.3 He was the son of Sir Stephen Lushington, 1st Bt. and Hester Boldero.2 He married Sarah Grace Carr, daughter of Thomas William Carr, on 8 August 1821.3 He died on 2 July 1858 at age 76 at Ockham Park, Surrey, England.3
     He held the office of Judge of the Admiralty.4 He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.).4 He was Chancellor of the Dioceses of Rochester and London.5 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).
