     Douglas Murray Quintal was born on 10 October 1860 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Caleb Quintal and Ann Naomi Nobbs.¹ He married Ida Anna Buffett, daughter of John Buffett and Elizabeth Young, on 1 February 1884 at Norfolk Island^G.² He died on 11 December 1901 at age 41 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     John Phillip Arthur Quintal was born on 9 May 1862 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Caleb Quintal and Ann Naomi Nobbs.¹ He married Rosecleer Snell, daughter of Pardon Snell and Mary McCoy, on 6 August 1891 at Norfolk Island^G.² He died on 5 September 1901 at age 39 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Sarah Ann Maude Quintal was born on 10 May 1864 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She is the daughter of Caleb Quintal and Ann Naomi Nobbs.¹ She married Thomas Henry Mallett, son of Thomas Henry Mallett and Susanna Eliza Reddie, on 10 December 1891 at Norfolk Island^G.²
     From 10 December 1891, her married name became Mallett.²

     Esther Quintal was born on 22 September 1865 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Caleb Quintal and Ann Naomi Nobbs.¹ She died on 30 September 1865 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Fletcher Evelyn Quintal was born on 8 February 1868 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Caleb Quintal and Ann Naomi Nobbs.¹ He married Alice Abigail Nobbs, daughter of James Wingate Johnstone Nobbs and Isabella Emily Christian, on 26 November 1895 at Norfolk Island^G.³ He died on 31 December 1953 at age 85 at Norfolk Island^G.^1,4
     He fought in the Boer War.³ He gained the rank of L/Sergeant in the 8th Company, New South Wales Imperial Bushmen.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1903 in the British Yeomanry.³ He gained the rank of Trooper in 1914 in the 6th Australian Light Horse.³ He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign in April 1915, where he was wounded, losing an eye.³ In 1946 he served as an escort to the Duke of Gloucester during the Duke's visit to Norfolk Isaland.³

     Captain John Hussey married Eleanor FitzMaurice, daughter of Maurice FitzMaurice and Eleanor FitzGerald.¹

     Ida Anna Buffett was born on 25 September 1861 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Buffett and Elizabeth Young.² She married Douglas Murray Quintal, son of Caleb Quintal and Ann Naomi Nobbs, on 1 February 1884 at Norfolk Island^G.² She died on 11 January 1935 at age 73 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     From 1 February 1884, her married name became Quintal.²

     Evelyn Ann Quintal was born on 13 December 1894 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Douglas Murray Quintal and Ida Anna Buffett.¹ She died on 13 December 1894 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Ivy Ann Quintal was born on 5 April 1896 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Douglas Murray Quintal and Ida Anna Buffett.¹ She died on 9 August 1896 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
