     Phyllis Helen Cairnes was born in 1900.1 She is the daughter of Major William Alan Cairnes and Helen Hone.2 She married Charles William Tomkinson, son of Rt. Hon. James Tomkinson and Emily Francis Palmer, on 12 October 1920.1
     From 12 October 1920, her married name became Tomkinson. She lived in 1976 at Mill Butts, Great Rollright, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England.1

     Anthony Palmer-Tomkinson was baptised with the name of Anthony Tomkinson.1 On 1933 his name was legally changed to Anthony Palmer-Tomkinson.1 He fought in the Second World War.
