     Captain Richard Glyn Griffith was the son of Surg.-Col. Richard Glyn-Griffith.1 He married Eleanor Gertrude Knatchbull, daughter of Edward Wadham Knatchbull and Gertrude Louise Stephens, on 2 September 1924.1 He died in September 1944.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Wiltshire Regiment.1

     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force.1
