     Ian 'Breac' Macleod of Macleod, 18th Chief is the son of Ian 'Mor' Macleod of Macleod, 16th Chief and Sybella Mackenzie.2 He married Florence Macdonald, daughter of Sir James 'Mor' Macdonald, 9th of Sleat, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Mackenzie.3
     Ian 'Breac' Macleod of Macleod, 18th Chief held the office of Chief of Clan Macleod, 18th.1 Ian 'Breac' Macleod of Macleod, 18th Chief also went by the nick-name of Ian 'Breac' (or in English, 'the Spotted'), probably as a result of smallpox.3
