     From 18 July 1865, her married name became Borthwick.¹ After her marriage, Harriet Alice Day was styled as Baroness Borthwick on 5 May 1870.

     Thomas Hermitage Day was a banker at Rochester, Kent, England^G.¹ He lived at Frindsbury, Kent, England^G.¹

     Archibald Patrick Thomas Borthwick, 20th Lord Borthwick was born on 3 September 1867 at 17 Queen Street, Mayfair, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Cunninghame Borthwick, 19th Lord Borthwick and Harriet Alice Day.¹ He married Susanna Mary McTaggart-Stewart, daughter of Sir Mark John McTaggart-Stewart, 1st Bt. and Marianne Susanna Ommaney, on 18 July 1901 at Ardwell, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.¹ He died on 4 October 1910 at age 43 at 2 Upper Grosvenor Street, Mayfair, London, England^G, after a long illness.¹
     He was educated at Glenalmond College, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He succeeded as the 20th Lord Borthwick [S., 1452] on 24 December 1885.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was a partner in Borthwick, Wark & Company, Stockbrokers.¹ He held the office of Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1906 and 1910.¹
     On his death, the Lordship of Borthwick became either extinct or dormant.¹

     Hon. Cecil Saumarez Irby was born on 3 February 1862.² He was the son of Florance George Henry Irby, 5th Baron Boston and Hon. Augusta Caroline Saumarez.¹ He married Florence Augusta Dormer, daughter of Clement Upton-Cottrell-Dormer and Florence Anne Upton, on 31 January 1885.² He died on 21 February 1935 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 7th Battalion, King's Royal RIfle Corps.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.²

     Hon. Isolde Francis Borthwick was born on 2 February 1903.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Patrick Thomas Borthwick, 20th Lord Borthwick and Susanna Mary McTaggart-Stewart.¹ She married Sir George Cooper, 2nd Bt. on 4 April 1923.² She died on 25 July 1953 at age 50, without issue.²
     From 4 April 1923, her married name became Cooper.²
