     Sir Nicholas Barnewall was the son of Sir Christopher Barnewall and Matilda Drake.1 He married Ismay Serjeant, daughter of Sir Robert Serjeant.1
     He lived at Crickstown, County Meath, Ireland.1 He held the office of Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland] in 1461.1

     Robert Barnewall, 1st Baron Trimlestown is the son of Sir Christopher Barnewall and Matilda Drake.1 He married Anne Browne.2 He died in 1471, by /2 by his 1st wife an elder son:.2
     He was County Meath (I).2 He lived Trimlestown.2 He gained the title of 1st Baron Trimlestown. On 8 August 1455 knighted by.2 On 4 March 1461 so created.2
