     Sir Stephen Anderson, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 1 October 1678 at St. Helen's, Bishopsgate, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Stephen Anderson, 1st Bt. and Judith Laurence.1 He married Anne Lumley, daughter of Sir Martin Lumley, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Dawes, before 1707.2 He died on 21 October 1741 at age 63.1 He was buried on 30 October 1741 at Eyworth, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.2 His will (dated 7 May 1741) was proven (by probate) on 3 November 1741.2
     He matriculated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 27 April 1696.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Anderson, of Eyworth, co. Bedford [E., 1664] on 19 January 1706/7.1

     Sir Stephen Anderson, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 15 November 1708 at St. Andrew's Church, Holborn, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Stephen Anderson, 2nd Bt. and Anne Lumley.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Barne, daughter of Miles Barne, on 27 January 1731/32.1 He married, secondly, Mary Elsegood, daughter of W. Elsgood, on 2 April 1771 at Haddington, East Lothian, ScotlandG.1 He died on 19 February 1773 at age 64 at Eyworth, Bedfordshire, EnglandG, without surviving issue.1 He was buried on 28 February 1773 at Eyworth, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 24 February 1772) was proven (by probate) on 25 February 1773.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Anderson, of Eyworth, co. Bedford [E., 1664] on 21 October 1741.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Rear-Admiral Hon. Thomas Shirley was born on 6 April 1733.2 He was the son of Hon. Laurence Shirley and Anne Clarges.3,4 He married, firstly, Mary Elsegood, daughter of W. Elsgood, on 30 March 1773.1 He married, secondly, Anne Hele, daughter of Thomas Hele, on 6 November 1809.2 He died on 7 April 1814 at age 81, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.2 He lived at Horkston Hall, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1

Laurence Shirley was born on 26 September 1693.2 He was the son of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Elizabeth Washington.3 He married Anne Clarges, daughter of Sir Walter Clarges, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Gould, on 29 April 1718 at St. James Palace Chapel, Westminster, London, England.2,4 He died on 27 April 1743 at age 49.2
     He lived at Staunton Harold, Leicestershire, EnglandG.2

Robert Shirley, 6th Earl Ferrers1

     Robert Shirley, 6th Earl Ferrers was born on 20 July 1723.1,2 He was the son of Hon. Laurence Shirley and Anne Clarges.1,3 He married Catherine Cotton, daughter of Rowland Cotton, on 26 December 1754.3 He died on 17 April 1787 at age 63.1
     He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Shirley, of Staunton Harold [E., 1611] on 11 October 1778.3 He succeeded as the 6th Earl Ferrers [G.B., 1711] on 11 October 1778.3 He was also known as 6th Viscount Tamworth, of co. Stafford [G.B., 1711] as of 11 October 1778.3

     Lady Jane Frederica Harriot Mary Grimston was born on 17 January 1825.2 She was the daughter of James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam and Lady Charlotte Jenkinson.1,2 She married James Du Pre Alexander, 3rd Earl of Caledon, son of Du Pre Alexander, 2nd Earl of Caledon and Lady Catherine Freeman Yorke, on 4 September 1845 at St. Michael's, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 30 March 1888 at age 63 at Tittenhanger, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2
     From 4 September 1845, her married name became Alexander.1 After her marriage, Lady Jane Frederica Harriot Mary Grimston was styled as Countess of Caledon on 4 September 1845. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Victoria between 1858 and 1878.2 She was appointed Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.) 2nd class.2
