     Julia Pelly was the daughter of Charles Pelly and Julia Henrietta Dobbs.^1,2 She married Thomas Frederick Andrew Agnew, son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie, on 9 October 1861.¹ She died on 15 April 1934.¹
      From 9 October 1861, her married name became Agnew.¹

     Charles Pelly was born on 31 July 1812.² He was the son of Sir John Henry Pelly, 1st Bt. and Emma Boulton.^2,3 He married Julia Henrietta Dobbs, daughter of Reverend Richard Stewart Dobbs and Harriet Macauley, on 18 April 1839.⁴ He died on 30 December 1885 at age 73.²

     Captain Douglas Agnew was born on 5 February 1869.¹ He was the son of Thomas Frederick Andrew Agnew and Julia Pelly.¹ He married Helen Louise Ann Thorne, daughter of Robert Thorne, on 6 April 1904.¹ He died on 4 January 1953 at age 83.¹
     He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was Captain-Superintendant of the Lancashire and Natioanl Sea Training Homes at Wallasey, Cheshire, England.¹

     Helen Louise Ann Thorne was the daughter of Robert Thorne.¹ She married Captain Douglas Agnew, son of Thomas Frederick Andrew Agnew and Julia Pelly, on 6 April 1904.¹ She died on 11 June 1962.¹
      From 6 April 1904, her married name became Agnew.¹

     Robert Thorne lived at Greenock, Scotland.¹

     Major Frederick Douglas Agnew was born on 18 January 1909.¹ He was the son of Captain Douglas Agnew and Helen Louise Ann Thorne.¹ He married, firstly, Barbara Glasspool, daughter of Reginald Thomas Booth Glasspool, on 2 April 1938.¹ He and Barbara Glasspool were divorced in 1950.¹ He married, secondly, Vivien Elizabeth Willoughby Bartlett, daughter of Harold Willoughby Bartlett, on 12 October 1951.¹ He died on 19 June 1982 at age 73.¹
      Major Frederick Douglas Agnew usually went by his middle name of Douglas.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 5th Battalion, King's Regiment (Territorial Army).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).¹

     Barbara Glasspool is the daughter of Reginald Thomas Booth Glasspool.¹ She married Major Frederick Douglas Agnew, son of Captain Douglas Agnew and Helen Louise Ann Thorne, on 2 April 1938.¹ She and Major Frederick Douglas Agnew were divorced in 1950.¹
      From 2 April 1938, her married name became Agnew.¹

     Reginald Thomas Booth Glasspool was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹

     Jocelyn Agnew was born on 3 October 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Major Frederick Douglas Agnew and Barbara Glasspool.¹ She married Raymond Graham Jenner, son of Graham Bernard Newman Jenner, on 5 June 1965.¹
      From 5 June 1965, her married name became Jenner.¹ She lived in 2003 at Tigh Aran-Cri, Strathview Terrace, Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Raymond Graham Jenner is the son of Graham Bernard Newman Jenner.¹ He married Jocelyn Agnew, daughter of Major Frederick Douglas Agnew and Barbara Glasspool, on 5 June 1965.¹
