     Mary Posnett was the Rector at Laracor, County Kildare, Ireland.1 From 17 May 1881, her married name became Pelly.

     Lt.-Col. Hutcheson Raymond Pelly was born on 22 September 1887.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Francis Raymond Pelly and Mary Posnett.2 He married Kathleen Mary Clifford-Walsh, daughter of Edward Clifford-Walsh, in 1913.1 He died in 1979.1
     Lt.-Col. Hutcheson Raymond Pelly was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Indian Army.1

     Clifford Raymond Pelly was born in 1917.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hutcheson Raymond Pelly and Kathleen Mary Clifford-Walsh.2 He died on 22 November 1944, killed in action when commanding H.M. Submarine Stratagem.1
