     Ferdinand Philippe d'Orléans, Prince héréditaire de France was born on 3 September 1810 at Palermo, Sicily, ItalyG.3 He was the son of Louis Philippe I d'Orléans, Roi de France and Maria Amelia Teresa di Borbone, Principessa delle Due Sicilie.4 He married Helene Luise Elisabeth Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, daughter of Friedrich Ludwig Erbgroßherzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Karoline Luise Prinzessin von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach, on 30 May 1837 at Fontainebleau, Île-de-France, FranceG.3 He died on 13 July 1842 at age 31 at Sablonville, FranceG, killed in a carriage accident.1 He was buried at Dreux, Department Eure et Loire, FranceG.5
