     Henry Fane was the son of John Fane and Joan Haute.1 He married Elizabeth White, daughter of Henry White.1 He died on 11 June 1580.1
     In 1553 he took part in Sir Thomas Wyatt's insurrection.1 He held the office of Lord of the Manors of Hadlow and Shipbourne in 1553.1 He was committed to the Tower, and attainted, but later pardoned.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchelsea.1 He lived at Hadlow Place, Kent, EnglandG.1
