     Adelheid van Vlaanderen was born circa 1065. She was the daughter of Robrecht I 'de Fries' Graaf van Vlaanderen Comte d'Artois and Gertrud Billung von Sachsen.1 She married, firstly, Saint Knud II Svendsson, King of Denmark, son of Svend II Estrithson, King of Denmark and Gunhilda Sweynsdottir, circa 1080. She married, secondly, Roger de Hauteville, Duca di Puglia, son of Robert de Hauteville, Duca di Puglia e Calabria and Sichelgaita di Salerno, in 1090. She died in 1115.1

     Charles, Comte de Flandre was born circa 1083.1 He was the son of Saint Knud II Svendsson, King of Denmark and Adelheid van Vlaanderen. He married Marguerite de Clermont, daughter of Renaud II de Clermont, Comte de Clermont and Adele de Vermandois, circa 1119.1 He died in 1127 at Brugge, BelgiumG, murdered.1
     Charles, Comte de Flandre also went by the nick-name of Charles 'the Good'.2 He succeeded as the Comte de Flandre in 1119.2

     Knut Lavard Eriksson, Duke of South Jutland was born in 1096.1 He was the son of Erik I 'the Evergood' Svendsson, King of Denmark and Bothilde Thorgautsdottir. He married Ingeborg of Novgorod, daughter of Mstislaw I, Grand Prince of Kiev and Christina Ingesdottir, circa 1117.1 He died in 1131 murdered.1
     He gained the title of Duke of South Jutland in 1115.
