     Douce Comtesse de Gévaudan et de Provence was born in 1095.1 She was the daughter of Gilbert Comte de Gévaudan Vicomte de Millau et de Carlat and Gerberge Comtesse de Provence. She married Raimond Berengar III, Conde de Barcelona, son of Raimond Berengar II, Conde de Barcelona and Maud de Hauteville, on 3 February 1112.2 She died in 1125.1

     Raimond Berengar II, Conde de Barcelona was born circa 1053.2 He was the son of Raimond Berengar I, Conde de Barcelona.1 He married Maud de Hauteville, daughter of Robert de Hauteville, Duca di Puglia e Calabria and Sichelgaita di Salerno, in 1078.2 He died on 6 December 1082, killed.
     Raimond Berengar II, Conde de Barcelona also went by the nick-name of Raimond Berengar 'Towhead'.1 He succeeded as the Conde de Barcelona in 1076.1

     Maud de Hauteville was born circa 1059.1 She was the daughter of Robert de Hauteville, Duca di Puglia e Calabria and Sichelgaita di Salerno.1 She married, firstly, Raimond Berengar II, Conde de Barcelona, son of Raimond Berengar I, Conde de Barcelona, in 1078.1 She married Aimeri I, Vicomte de Narbonne between 1083 and 1085.1 She died on 19 September 1108 at Girona, Spain.1

     Robert de Hauteville, Duca di Puglia e Calabria was born circa 1025.2 He was the son of Tancred de Hauteville and Fredesenda de Normandie.1,2 He married Albérade di Buonalbergo in 1051.2 He married Sichelgaita di Salerno, daughter of Guaimario IV di Salerno, Principe di Salerno and Porpora de Tabellaria, in 1058.2 He died in 1085.1
     He was created Duca di Puglia in 1059.1

     Gilbert Comte de Gévaudan Vicomte de Millau et de Carlat was born in 1065.1 He married Gerberge Comtesse de Provence, daughter of Geoffroy I Comte de Provence et d'Arles and Stephanie Dulcia de Marseille, in 1090.1 He died between 1107 and 1112.
     He gained the title of Vicomte de Millau. He gained the title of Comte de Gévaudan.
