     Brig.-Gen. Edward Hall Stevenson was the son of Colonel Edward Macdonald Stevenson.1 He married, firstly, Ethel Vaughan Morgan, daughter of Septimus Vaughan Morgan and Ellen Sarah Simkin, on 27 January 1917.2 He married, secondly, Daisy May White, daughter of Sir George White, 1st Bt. and Caroline Rosena Thomas, on 27 September 1945.1 He died on 3 January 1964.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
