     Marianne Vaughan was the daughter of William Vaughan.1 She married Thomas Morgan, son of John Morgan and Ann (?), on 15 October 1822.1 She died on 29 July 1840.1
     From 15 October 1822, her married name became Morgan.1

     Sir Walter Vaughan Morgan, 1st Bt. was born on 3 May 1831.1 He was the son of Thomas Morgan and Marianne Vaughan.1 He died on 12 November 1916 at age 85, unmarried.1
     He was with National Provident Bank of England in 1846.1 In 1856 he founded the firm of Morgan Brothers, merchants na dnewspaper proprietors.1 He held the office of Alderman of the City of London in 1892.1 He held the office of Sheriff of London between 1900 and 1901.1 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1905 and 1906.1 He was created 1st Baronet Morgan [U.K.] on 28 July 1906.1 He held the office of Lieutenant in the City of London.1
