     Diana May Violet Peel Goodchild was born in 1919 at Isle of Wight, England.1,2 She married, firstly, G. Ian Young.3 She married, secondly, Sir William Gordon Smith of Crowmallie, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Workman Smith of Crowmallie, 1st Bt. and Jessie Hill Workman, in 1958.3 She died on 31 July 2015.1
     Her married name became Young. From 1958, her married name became Smith. She lived in 2003 at Crowmallie, Pitcaple, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.3
