     General Sir Charles William Dunbar Staveley was born on 18 December 1818 at France.3 He was the son of General William Staveley and Sarah Mather.3 He married Susan Millicent Minet, daughter of Charles William Minet, in 1864.3 He died on 23 November 1896 at age 77.3
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)3

     Alexander Simon Fraser, Master of Saltoun was born on 12 December 1921.1 He was the son of Alexander Arthur Fraser, 20th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Dorothy Geraldine Welby.1 He died on 9 February 1944 at age 22 at Cassino, Italy, killed in action.2
     He was styled as Master of Saltoun between 1933 and 1944.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

Thomas Arthur Grattan-Bellew1

     Thomas Arthur Grattan-Bellew was born in 1820.2 He was the son of Sir Michael Dillon Bellew, 1st Bt. and Helena Maria Dillon.3 He married Pauline Grattan, daughter of Rt. Hon. James Grattan, in September 1858.2 He died on 24 July 1863.2
     He was also known as Thomas Arthur Bellew. He gained the rank of officer in the 34th Regiment.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Galway between 1852 and 1857.2 On 19 March 1859 his name was legally changed to Thomas Arthur Grattan-Bellew by Royal Licence.2 He lived at Mount Bellew, County Galway, IrelandG.1

     Pauline Grattan was the daughter of Rt. Hon. James Grattan.2 She married Thomas Arthur Grattan-Bellew, son of Sir Michael Dillon Bellew, 1st Bt. and Helena Maria Dillon, in September 1858.3 She died on 17 July 1908.3
     From September 1858, her married name became Bellew. From 19 March 1859, her married name became Grattan-Bellew.
