     Admiral Cecil Minet Staveley was born on 3 April 1874.1 He was the son of General Sir Charles William Dunbar Staveley and Susan Millicent Minet.1 He married Margaret Adela Sturdee, daughter of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Frederick Charles Doveton Sturdee, 1st Bt. and Marion Adela Andrews, on 16 December 1919 at St. Peter, Eaton Square, Pimlico, London, England.2,1 He died in 1934.1

     Brig.-Gen. William Cathcart Staveley was born on 20 September 1865 at Poona, Bombay, India.1 He was the son of General Sir Charles William Dunbar Staveley and Susan Millicent Minet.1 He married, firstly, Lilian Louisa Bowdoin, daughter of James Bowdoin and Charlotte Kate Costobadie, on 30 September 1899 at Kensington, London, England.1 He married, secondly, Frances Ethel Rosamond Skrine, daughter of Henry Mills Skrine and Lady Mary Jane Gore-Langton, on 28 December 1937 at St. James's Church, Piccadilly, London, England.1 He died on 10 March 1939 at age 73 at Robins, Wilderness Avenue, Sevenoaks, Kent, England.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2
