Philip Julius Graaf van Zuylen van Nijevelt was born on 5 January 1743 at Rotterdam, The Netherlands.1 He was the son of Dr. Jacob Zuylen van Nijevelt and Aletta Johanna Timmers.1 He married Clara Helen Wacker van Son, daughter of Hendrik Wacker van Son and Anna Suzanne Hollebeek, on 29 June 1779.1 He died on 21 February 1826 at age 83 at Utrecht, The Netherlands.1
     He was created Graaf van Zuylen van Nijevelt on 15 April 1815.
