     Lt.-Col. Walter Francis Templer was born on 28 August 1865 at Loughgate, County Armagh, Ireland.^1,2 He was the son of Robert Baron Templer and Geraldine Shawe-Taylor.¹ He married Mabel Eileen Johnston, daughter of Major Robert Johnston, on 7 November 1895 at Memorial Church, Cawnpore, Bengal, India.¹ He died on 18 December 1942 at age 77 at Loughgall, County Armagh, Ireland.²

     Mabel Eileen Johnston was born on 3 February 1877 at India.^1,2 She was the daughter of Major Robert Johnston.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Walter Francis Templer, son of Robert Baron Templer and Geraldine Shawe-Taylor, on 7 November 1895 at Memorial Church, Cawnpore, Bengal, India.¹
     From 7 November 1895, her married name became Templer.¹

     Geraldine Shawe-Taylor was born in 1835 at Andreham, County Galway, Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Manley Shawe-Taylor and Albinia Hester Taylor.¹ She married Robert Baron Templer, son of James Templer, on 29 February 1860 at Ardahan, County Galway, Ireland.¹
     From 29 February 1860, her married name became Templer.¹

     Major Robert Johnston gained the rank of Major in the Army Pay Department, Highland Light Infantry.¹

     Robert Baron Templer is the son of James Templer.¹ He married Geraldine Shawe-Taylor, daughter of Francis Manley Shawe-Taylor and Albinia Hester Taylor, on 29 February 1860 at Ardahan, County Galway, Ireland.¹

     Francis Manley Shawe-Taylor is the son of William Cunliffe Shawe and Philippa Pole.¹ He married Albinia Hester Taylor, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir John Taylor, on 4 April 1825.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway.¹ He was given the name of Francis Manley Shawe at birth.¹ In 1844 his name was legally changed to Francis Manley Shawe-Taylor by Royal Licence.¹

     Sophia Frances Shawe-Taylor was born on 18 January 1829 at London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Manley Shawe-Taylor and Albinia Hester Taylor.¹ She was baptised on 9 March 1829 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England.¹ She married Reverend William Christopher Templer on 10 December 1863 at Parish Church, Ardahan, County Galway, Ireland.¹
     From 10 December 1863, her married name became Templer.¹

     William Cunliffe Shawe was born in 1744.¹ He married Philippa Pole.¹ He died in 1821.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Preston, Lancashire.¹

     Reverend William Christopher Templer was born on 28 May 1823 at Bridport, Dorset, England.¹ He married Sophia Frances Shawe-Taylor, daughter of Francis Manley Shawe-Taylor and Albinia Hester Taylor, on 10 December 1863 at Parish Church, Ardahan, County Galway, Ireland.¹
     He was Rector at Burden Bradstock, Devon, England.¹
