     Mark Francis Robert Baring, 8th Baron Ashburton was born on 17 August 1958.1 He is the son of John Francis Harcourt Baring, 7th Baron Ashburton and Hon. Susan Mary Renwick.1 He married, firstly, Miranda Caroline Wright, daughter of Captain Charles St. John Graham Wright and Joanna Dava Peto, in 1983.1 He and Miranda Caroline Wright were divorced circa 2015. He married, secondly, Sophie Grenville in 2016.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He lived in 1999 at Abbotstone Farm House, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Ashburton, of Ashburton, co. Devon [U.K., 1835] on 6 October 2020.

William Henry Fremantle, son of Thomas Francis Fremantle, 1st Baron Cottesloe and Louisa Elizabeth Nugent, on 16 April 1903.1 She died on 30 August 1943 at Hatfield, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1,2
     From 16 April 1903, her married name became Fremantle.1

     Elizabeth Wynne was the daughter of Richard Wynne.1 She married Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Francis Fremantle, son of John Fremantle and Frances Edwards, on 12 January 1797.1 She died on 2 November 1857.1
     Elizabeth Wynne also went by the nick-name of Betsey.1 Her married name became Fremantle.

Colonel Stephen Francis William Fremantle1

     Colonel Stephen Francis William Fremantle was the son of John Fremantle and Frances Edwards. He married Albinia Jane Jefferyes, daughter of Major James St. John Jefferyes and Arabella Fitzgibbon.1 He died in 1794, on a passage from Gibraltar.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel.2

     Albinia Jane Jefferyes is the daughter of Major James St. John Jefferyes and Arabella Fitzgibbon.2 She married, firstly, Colonel Stephen Francis William Fremantle, son of John Fremantle and Frances Edwards.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Sir John Taylor on 24 April 1798.1
     Her married name became Fremantle. From 24 April 1798, her married name became Taylor.1
