     Charles Lambert was born in November 1833 at Athenry, County Galway, Ireland.1 He was the son of Captain Peter Lambert and Maria Louisa Carroll.1

     Hawise Lestrange was the daughter of John (III) Lestrange and Lucy Tregoz.2 She married Gruffydd ap Gwenwynwyn, son of Gwenwynwyn, King of South Powys, before 1241.1 She died from 21 February 1286 to 1287.1
     In 1241 Lord of Arwystli, Caereinion, Cyfeiliog, Mawddwy, Upper Mochnant and Y Tair Swydd by grant of King Henry III.1 He later supported Llywelyn the Last, Prince of Wales.1 He had six other sons and a daughter.1

     Gruffydd ap Gwenwynwyn is the son of Gwenwynwyn, King of South Powys.1 He married Hawise Lestrange, daughter of John (III) Lestrange and Lucy Tregoz, before 1241.1

Owen ap Gruffydd ap Wenwynwyn1

     Owen ap Gruffydd ap Wenwynwyn was the son of Gruffydd ap Gwenwynwyn and Hawise Lestrange.2 He married Joan Corbet, daughter of Sir Robert Corbet.1 He died before 15 October 1295.1
     He allegedly surrendered the principality of Powis to King Edward I in the late 13th century, though the principality had already been the subject of constant fighting and dispute between the Kings of England and Llywelyn the Last, Prince of Wales, receiving from King Edward I in return the same area as a free Baron of England.1

Joan Corbet1

     Joan Corbet was the daughter of Sir Robert Corbet.1 She married, firstly, Owen ap Gruffydd ap Wenwynwyn, son of Gruffydd ap Gwenwynwyn and Hawise Lestrange.1 She married, secondly, Sir Roger Trumwyne from 18 August 1295 to 22 November 1298.1 She died before 1348, Michaelmas.1
     From from 18 August 1295 to 22 November 1298, her married name became Trumwyne.1

     Gruffydd ap Owen was born circa 1291.1 He was the son of Owen ap Gruffydd ap Wenwynwyn and Joan Corbet.2 He married Ela de Audley, daughter of Nicholas de Audley.1 He died before 25 June 1309, without issue.1

     Ela de Audley was the daughter of Nicholas de Audley.1 She married, firstly, Gruffydd ap Owen, son of Owen ap Gruffydd ap Wenwynwyn and Joan Corbet.1 She married, secondly, Sir James de Perrers before 12 December 1309.1 She married, thirdly, Piers Corbet before 10 July 1322.1 She died from 5 March 1324/25 to 9 June 1325.1
