     Lionel Stanley Ormsby Johnson was born on 19 August 1887.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Frederick Colpoys Ormsby Johnson and Maria Lund.2 He died on 2 April 1920 at age 32, from effects of war service.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He was Flag-Lieutenant to Commander-in-Chief, Dardanelles.1
