     Harriet Georgiana Cosby was born in 1813 at Stradbally Hall, County Laois, Ireland.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Cosby and Charlotte Elizabeth Kelly.1 She married Frederick Mason Trench, 2nd Baron Ashtown, son of Francis Trench and Mary Mason, on 29 August 1831.1 She died on 25 February 1845 at Woodlawn, Kilconnell, County Galway, IrelandG.1 She was buried at Woodlawn, Kilconnell, County Galway, IrelandG.1
     Her married name became Trench. After her marriage, Harriet Georgiana Cosby was styled as Baroness Ashtown on 1 May 1840.

     Elizabeth Oliver-Gascoigne was born on 9 September 1812.3 She was the daughter of Richard Philip Oliver-Gascoigne and Mary Turner.1 She married Frederick Mason Trench, 2nd Baron Ashtown, son of Francis Trench and Mary Mason, on 10 February 1852 at Aberford, Yorkshire, West Riding, EnglandG.1 She died on 23 February 1893 at age 80 at Hôtel National, Montreux, SwitzerlandG.1 She was buried on 25 February 1893 at Territet, SwitzerlandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 25 May 1893.1
     From 10 February 1852, her married name became Trench. She gained the title of Baroness Ashtown on 10 February 1852. Her last will was dated from 2 November 1890 to 24 September 1892.

Hon. Richard Chenevix Trench and Hon. Frances Mary Trench, on 14 February 1874.1 She died on 3 October 1919 at age 71.1
     Her married name became Chenevix Trench.

     General Sir John Henry Lefroy was born on 28 January 1817.3 He was the son of Reverend John Henry George Lefroy and Sophia Cottrell.4 He married, firstly, Emily Merry Robinson, daughter of Sir John Beverley Robinson, 1st Bt. and Emma Walker, on 16 April 1846.5 He married, secondly, Charlotte Anna Dundas, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Charlotte Anna Boultbee, on 12 May 1860 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.6,7 He died in 1890.6
     He held the office of Governor of Bermuda.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)6 He held the office of Governor of Tasmania.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1

     Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Richard Chenevix Trench was born on 9 September 1807.1 He was the son of Richard Trench and Melesina Chenevix.1 He married Hon. Frances Mary Trench, daughter of Francis Trench and Mary Mason, on 1 June 1832.1 He died on 27 March 1886 at age 78.1
     He was given the name of Richard Trench at birth. He held the office of Archbishop of Dublin between 1864 and 1884.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 In 1873 his name was legally changed to Richard Chenevix Trench.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.)1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1

     Richard Trench was born in 1774.1 He was the son of Frederick Trench and Mary Sadleir.1 He married Melesina Chenevix, daughter of Reverend Philip Chenevix and Mary Elizabeth Gervais, on 3 March 1803 at Paris, FranceG.1 He died on 16 April 1860.1
     He was a barrister.1
