     He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Inverness-shire Militia.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Innes, of Balvenie [N.S., 1628] on 23 March 1829.1

     Sir James Milne Innes of Balvenie and Edingight, 11th Bt. was born on 24 February 1808.1 He was the son of Sir John Innes of Balvenie and Edingight, 9th Bt. and Barbara Forbes.2 He married Elizabeth Thurburn, daughter of Alexander Thurburn of Keith, on 4 April 1837.1 He died on 11 May 1878 at age 70.1
     He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Innes, of Balvenie [N.S., 1628] on 3 December 1838.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

     Elizabeth Thurburn was the daughter of Alexander Thurburn of Keith.2 She married Sir James Milne Innes of Balvenie and Edingight, 11th Bt., son of Sir John Innes of Balvenie and Edingight, 9th Bt. and Barbara Forbes, on 4 April 1837.1 She died on 29 April 1899.1
     From 4 April 1837, her married name became Innes.

     Sir John Innes of Balvenie and Edingight, 12th Bt. was born on 25 November 1840.1 He was the son of Sir James Milne Innes of Balvenie and Edingight, 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Thurburn.2 He died on 2 May 1912 at age 71, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Innes, of Balvenie [N.S., 1628] on 11 May 1878.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [New Zealand]1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire.1 He lived at Christchurch, New Zealand.1 On 20 January 1912 the Balvenie arms and supporters were confirmed to him by the Lyon King of Arms.1

     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Banffshire.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Innes, of Balvenie [N.S., 1628] on 2 May 1912.1

     Thomas Innes was born on 22 February 1852.1 He was the son of Sir James Milne Innes of Balvenie and Edingight, 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Thurburn.2 He married Virginia Bourchier, daughter of Colonel Hugh Plunket Bourchier, in 1880.1 He died on 23 April 1911 at age 59.1
     He lived at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1 He lived at Valparaiso, Chile.1
