Mary Ricketts was born on 30 December 1768.2 She was the daughter of William Henry Ricketts and Mary Jervis.3 She married Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk, son of Admiral George Carnegie, 6th Earl of Northesk and Lady Anne Leslie, on 9 December 1788.1 She died on 20 November 1835 at age 66.4
Her married name became Carnegie. After her marriage, Mary Ricketts was styled as Countess of Northesk on 22 January 1792.

Captain William Henry Jervis was born on 4 November 1764.2 He was the son of William Henry Ricketts and Mary Jervis.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Jane Lambart, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Richard Lambart, 6th Earl of the County of Cavan and Elizabeth Davies, on 9 November 1793.1 He and Lady Elizabeth Jane Lambart were divorced in 1799 by Act of Parliament.2 He died on 26 January 1805 at age 40 at Brest, FranceG, drowned when his gig overturned.2
He was given the name of William Henry Ricketts at birth.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 On 10 June 1801 his name was legally changed to William Henry Jervis by Royal Licence.2 He lived at Longwood, Hampshire, EnglandG.3

Elaine de Chair was born on 7 April 1907.1 She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Dudley Rawson Stratford de Chair and Enid Struben.1 She married, firstly, Richard John Alexander Hamer on 29 June 1937.1 She and Richard John Alexander Hamer were divorced in 1946.1 She married, secondly, Donald Barrington Houton Hudson on 1 June 1950.1 She died on 27 December 1996 at age 89.1
