Edward Archibald Douglas was born on 2 November 1877.2 He was the son of John Douglas and Sarah Hickey.1 He married Annette Eileen Power, daughter of Virgil Power, in 1907.2 He died on 27 August 1947 at age 69.2

Henry Alexander Cecil Douglas was born on 8 April 1879.2 He was the son of John Douglas and Sarah Hickey.1 He married Flora Isabel Macdonald, daughter of Charles Hugh Macdonald, in 1910.2 He married, secondly, Catherine Cecilia Beirne, daughter of Hon. T. C. Beirne, in 1914.2 He died on 30 August 1952 at age 73.2
He held the office of Member of the Legislative Assembly (M.L.A.) [Queensland] between 1908 and 1915.2 He held the office of Minister [Queensland] in 1915.2
