     Robert Sandys was born in 1781 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He married Mary Louisa Ahmuty, daughter of Thomas Ahmuty and Alice Moore, on 23 December 1808 at St. Georges Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He died on 26 December 1848 at Creevaghmore, Ballymahon, County Longford, Ireland.1
