     John D'Arcy was born on 7 February 1767.2 He was the son of James D'Arcy and Martha Grierson.2 He married, firstly, Emily Purdon, daughter of Thomas Purdon, in 1803.2 He married, secondly, Mary Ann Cary, daughter of Thomas Cary, in 1817.2 He died in 1846.2
     He lived at Hyde Park, County Westmeath, IrelandG.2
