Richard Austin Cooper-Chadwick1

     Richard Austin Cooper-Chadwick was born on 15 December 1831.1 He was the son of Samuel Cooper and Louise Salisbury Long.2 He married, firstly, Katherine Chadwick, daughter of William Chadwick, on 6 February 1855.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Sophia Bourchier, daughter of John Bourchier, in August 1863.1 He died on 19 January 1892 at age 60.1
     He was given the name of Richard Austin Cooper at birth.1 He was educated at Royal School Armagh, Armagh, County Armagh, IrelandG.1 On 15 January 1855 his name was legally changed to Richard Austin Cooper-Chadwick by Royal Sign Manual.1 He lived at Ballinard House, Emly, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1

     Beatrix Willie Penrose was born circa 1905.2 She was the daughter of Captain William Robert Penrose.1 She married John Lionel Cooper-Chadwick, son of John Cooper-Chadwick and Wilhelmina Heuston, on 8 August 1931 at Abbeyleix, County Laois, IrelandG.1,2 She died on 12 April 1965 at Bridgwater, Somerset, EnglandG.1,2
     From 8 August 1931, her married name became Cooper-Chadwick.1

John Cooper-Chadwick1

     John Cooper-Chadwick was born on 13 May 1864.1 He was the son of Richard Austin Cooper-Chadwick and Charlotte Sophia Bourchier.2 He married Wilhelmina Heuston, daughter of Samuel Heuston, on 17 October 1896.1 He died on 5 June 1948 at age 84.1
     Between 1878 and 1881 he served with Sir Charles Warren's Expedition in South Africa.1 He was with Bechuanaland Border Police in 1885.1 He was with Rhode's Pioneers in Mashonaland in 1888.1 He wrote the book Three Years with Lobengula, which he wrote with a pen tied to his elbow joints as a result of losing his forearms in a shooting accident.1 He lived at Ballinard House, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1
