     Abigail Hill was born in 1670. She was the daughter of Francis Hill and Elizabeth Jennings.2 She married Samuel Masham, 1st Baron Masham of Otes, son of Sir Francis Masham, 3rd Bt. and Mary Scott, in 1707. She died on 6 December 1734.
     From 1707, her married name became Masham.

     William Richard Le Fanu was born on 9 July 1904.1 He is the son of Thomas Philip Le Fanu and Florence Sophia Mabel Sullivan.2 He married Elizabeth Violet Maconchy, daughter of Gerald Edward Campbell Maconchy, on 23 April 1930.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He was Librarian of the Royal College of Surgeons.1 He wrote the book A Bio-bibliography of Edward Jenner.1 He wrote the book Betsy Sheridan's Journal.1 He was President of the Huguenot Society between 1956 and 1959.1 He lived in 1976 at Shottesbrook, Boreham, Chelmsford, Essex, EnglandG.1

     She was registered as a Associate, Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.)1 From 23 April 1930, her married name became Le Fanu.1 She was a distinguished composer.1 She was Chairmam of the Composers Guild of Great Britain in 1960.1
