Norah Frances Godley1

     Norah Frances Godley was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Clements Godley and Maud Adeline Whittall.2 She married Sir Basil Edward Nicolls, son of Venerable Gerald Edward Nicolls, on 18 February 1922.1 She died in October 1975.1
     From 18 February 1922, her married name became Nicolls.1

     Sir Basil Edward Nicolls was the son of Venerable Gerald Edward Nicolls.2 He married Norah Frances Godley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Clements Godley and Maud Adeline Whittall, on 18 February 1922.1 He died on 3 August 1965.1
     He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)1 He was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1

     John Cornwallis Godley was born on 9 February 1861.1 He was the son of Reverend James Godley and Eliza Frances La Touche.2 He married Mary Blanche MacNaught, daughter of William MacNaught, in January 1895.1 He died on 19 August 1946 at age 85.1
     He was Director of Public Instruction, Punjab between 1907 and 1917.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1
