     John Robert Godley was born on 29 May 1814.¹ He was the son of John Godley and Katharine Daly.² He married Charlotte Griffith-Wynne, daughter of Charles Wynn Griffith-Wynne and Sarah Hildyard, on 29 September 1846.¹ He died on 17 November 1861 at age 47.¹
     In 1850 he founded the Province of Canterbury, New Zealand.¹ He was Assistant Under-Secretary of the War Office between 1856 and 1861.¹

     John La Touche was born circa 1734.¹ He was the son of David La Touche.¹ He died in 1805.¹

     Charlotte Griffith-Wynne was the daughter of Charles Wynn Griffith-Wynne and Sarah Hildyard.² She married John Robert Godley, son of John Godley and Katharine Daly, on 29 September 1846.¹ She died on 3 January 1907.¹
     From 29 September 1846, her married name became Godley.

     Susan Lee Heazlewood is the daughter of Norman Heazlewood.¹ She married John Raymond Godley, 3rd Baron Kilbracken, son of Hugh John Godley, 2nd Baron Kilbracken and Elizabeth Helen Monteith Hamilton, in 1981.¹ She and John Raymond Godley, 3rd Baron Kilbracken were divorced in 1989.¹
     After her marriage, Susan Lee Heazlewood was styled as Baroness Kilbracken in 1981. From 1981, her married name became Godley.¹

     Rose Mary Godley was the daughter of John Robert Godley and Charlotte Griffith-Wynne.² She died on 27 November 1931, unmarried.¹

     Frances Eleanor Godley was born circa 1853.¹ She was the daughter of John Robert Godley and Charlotte Griffith-Wynne.² She died on 13 October 1955, unmarried.¹

     Mary Henrietta Godley was the daughter of John Robert Godley and Charlotte Griffith-Wynne.² She died on 14 April 1898, unmarried.¹

     Margaret Ethel Godley was the daughter of John Robert Godley and Charlotte Griffith-Wynne.² She died on 22 May 1933, unmarried.¹

     Reverend James Godley was the son of John Godley and Katharine Daly.² He married Eliza Frances La Touche, daughter of Peter La Touche and Hon. Charlotte Maude, in 1851.¹ He died on 30 April 1910.¹
     He was the Rector between 1867 and 1910 at Carrigallen, County Leitrim, Ireland^G.¹
