     Reverend Thomas Twysden was born on 21 August 1801.1 He was the son of Captain Thomas Twysden and Isabella Duncan.1 He married Elizabeth Fortescue, daughter of Edmund Nathaniel William Fortescue, on 15 October 1827.1 He died in October 1887 at age 86.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Rector at Charlton, Kingsbridge, Devon, EnglandG.1

Captain Thomas Twysden1

     Captain Thomas Twysden was born on 20 October 1765.1 He was the son of Sir William Twysden, 6th Bt. and Mary Jervis.1 He married Isabella Duncan, daughter of Henry Duncan.1 He died on 4 October 1801 at age 35.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Jane Thomlinson was the daughter of John Thomlinson.1 She married Sir Thomas Twisden, 1st Bt., son of Sir William Twysden, 1st Bt. and Lady Anne Finch, on 26 December 1639.1,3 She died on 24 September 1702.3
     From 26 December 1639, her married name became Twisden.1

Sir Roger Twisden, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Roger Twisden, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1640.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Twisden, 1st Bt. and Jane Thomlinson.1 He and Margaret Marsham obtained a marriage license on 7 December 1667.1 He died on 28 February 1702/3, suddenly.1 His will was proven (by probate) in June 1703.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Twisden, of Bradbourne, Kent [E., 1666] on 2 January 1682/83.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rochester from 1689 to 1690.1 He lived at Bradbourne, Kent, EnglandG.1 He had three other sons who all died in infancy.2

     Margaret Marsham was born circa 1647.1 She was the daughter of Sir John Marsham, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Hammond.1 She and Sir Roger Twisden, 2nd Bt. obtained a marriage license on 7 December 1667.1 She died on 30 January 1687.2
     From 7 December 1667, her married name became Twisden.1

     Sir John Marsham, 1st Bt. was born on 23 August 1602.2 He was the son of Thomas Marsham and Magdalen Springham.2 He married Elizabeth Hammond, daughter of Sir William Hammond, on 13 January 1630/31.2 He died on 25 May 1685 at age 82.2
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.2 He was educated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was admitted to Middle Temple.2 He was Clerk in Chancery from February 1637/38 to 1641.2 He was an antiquary and historian.2 He was appointed Knight in 1660.2 He was Clerk in Chancery between 1660 and 1680.2 He was created 1st Baronet Marsham, of Whorn's Place, Cuxton, Kent [England] on 12 August 1663.2
