     Colonel David Alexander Somerville Cranstoun of that Ilk and Corehouse was born on 19 December 1943 at British Embassy, Washington, D.C., U.S.A.G.1 He is the son of Major John Gilbert Lockhart and Margaret Colette Mary Gordon.2 He married Maja Martha Glattli, daughter of Professor Hugo Glattli, on 31 May 1991.1

     She was a practising Advocate.1 She graduated with a Doctorr of Jurisprudence.1 From 12 September 1991, her married name became Cranstoun.1

William Cranstoun, 5th Lord Cranstoun1

     William Cranstoun, 5th Lord Cranstoun was the son of James Cranstoun, 4th Lord Cranstoun and Mary Don.2 He married Lady Jean Kerr, daughter of Lt.-Gen. William Kerr, 2nd Marquess of Lothian and Lady Jane Campbell, before 1703.1 He died on 27 January 1726/27.
     He gained the title of 5th Lord Cranstoun.
