     John Arthur Crichton was born on 19 August 1883.1 He was the son of Colonel Hon. Sir Henry George Louis Crichton and Letitia Grace Cole-Hamilton.2 He died on 6 February 1917 at age 33, on active service.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the 5th Battalion, Hampshire Regiment.1

Sir Henry George Louis Crichton and Letitia Grace Cole-Hamilton.2 She married Captain Guy Dalrymple Fanshawe, son of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Arthur Dalrymple Fanshawe and Sarah Frances Fox, on 16 August 1910.1 She died on 6 September 1948 at age 67.1
     From 16 August 1910, her married name became Fanshawe.
