     Catherine Blakeney was born on 6 November 1817.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Blakeney and Alicia Newcome.1 A settlement for the marriage between her and John Battersby was made on 16 March 1841, with issue.1
     From 16 March 1841, her married name became Battersby.1

     From 20 July 1779, her married name became St. Leger.1
