Charles Howard, 4th Baron Howard of Escrick1

     Charles Howard, 4th Baron Howard of Escrick was the son of William Howard, 3rd Baron Howard of Escrick and Frances Bridgeman.2 He married Elizabeth Brydges, daughter of George Brydges, 6th Baron Chandos of Sudeley and Lady Susan Montagu, before August 1694.1 He and Elizabeth Brydges were divorced after 1697 on the grounds of her husband's bigamy.2 He died on 29 April 1715, without legitimate issue.2
     He gained the title of 4th Baron Howard of Escrick, co. York [E., 1628] circa 21 April 1694.2

     Sir John St. Leger was the son of John St. Leger and Afra Harflete.2 He married Lavina Pennefather, daughter of Kingsmill Pennefather and Elizabeth Bolton.1 He married Mary Ware, daughter of James Ware and Elizabeth Hickman. He died on 14 May 1743 at Grangemellan, County Kildare, IrelandG.1
     He held the office of Baron of the Exchequer [Ireland].1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Doneraile.1
