     Gertrude Louisa Biddulph was born on 22 September 1856.1 She was the daughter of Francis Marsh Biddulph and Lucy Bickerstaffe.1 She married, firstly, George Carpenter Anderson on 25 February 1879.1 She married, secondly, Nevil Pottow Cadell, son of James Cadell and Harriet Pottow, on 23 January 1893 at St. Peter, Tiverton, Devon, England, with issue.1,2
     From 25 February 1879, her married name became Anderson.1 From 23 January 1893, her married name became Cadell.1
