     Edward Vansittart-Neale was baptised on 4 November 1769.² He was the son of George Vansittart and Sarah Stonhouse.² He married, firstly, Jane Gardiner, daughter of Samuel Gardiner and Mary Boddam, on 29 August 1805.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Spooner, daughter of Isaac Spooner and Barbara Gough, on 3 January 1809.² He died on 21 January 1850 at age 80.²
