     Lady Elizabeth Cochrane was baptised on 16 August 1745 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Cochrane, 8th Earl of Dundonald and Jane Stuart.1 She married Patrick Heron of Heron on 14 November 1775.2 She died on 19 February 1811 at age 65.2
     From 14 November 1775, her married name became Heron.

     Major Hon. William Erskine Cochrane was born after 1776. He was the son of Archibald Cochrane, 9th Earl of Dundonald and Anne Gilchrist.2 He married Mary Anne Manson, daughter of Alexander Manson.1 He died on 16 March 1871.1
     He fought in the Peninsular War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 15th Hussars.1

     Mary Anne Manson was the daughter of Alexander Manson.2 She married Major Hon. William Erskine Cochrane, son of Archibald Cochrane, 9th Earl of Dundonald and Anne Gilchrist.1 She died on 22 October 1860.1

Colonel William Marshall Cochrane1

     Colonel William Marshall Cochrane was born on 22 December 1817.1 He was the son of Major Hon. William Erskine Cochrane and Mary Anne Manson.2 He married, firstly, Mary Hussey, daughter of William Hussey, on 14 October 1846.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Mary Somerville Fairfax, daughter of Sir Henry Fairfax, 1st Bt. and Archibald Montgomerie Williamson, on 14 August 1884.2 He died on 30 July 1898 at age 80.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Highland Lightland Infantry.1

     Mary Hussey was the daughter of William Hussey.2 She married, firstly, Philip Bennett Marshall before 1846.1 She married, secondly, Colonel William Marshall Cochrane, son of Major Hon. William Erskine Cochrane and Mary Anne Manson, on 14 October 1846.1 She died on 14 August 1868.1
     From before 1846, her married name became Marshall.1 From 14 October 1846, her married name became Cochrane.
