Anne St. John, on 28 April 1786 at Lausanne, Switzerland^G.³ She died on 7 February 1798 at Cross, Torrington, Devon, England^G, frm a burst blood vessel.³ Her will was proven (by probate) in May 1798.³
     From 28 April 1786, her married name became Trefusis.

     Colonel Robert Cotton St. John Trefusis, 18th Lord Clinton was born on 28 April 1787 at Trefusis, Cornwall, England^G.² He was the son of Robert George William Trefusis, 17th Lord Clinton and Albertina Marianna Gaulis.³ He was baptised on 2 May 1787 at Mylor, Cornwall, England^G.² He married Frances Selina Isabella Poyntz, daughter of William Stephen Poyntz and Hon. Elizabeth Mary Browne, on 4 August 1814.¹ He died in October 1832 at age 45 at Florence, Italy^G, without issue.² He was buried at Trefusis, Cornwall, England^G.² He died intestate and his estate was administered in January 1833.²

     Captain Hon. George Rolle Walpole Trefusis was born on 8 April 1793.¹ He was the son of Robert George William Trefusis, 17th Lord Clinton and Albertina Marianna Gaulis.² He married Margaret Frances James, daughter of John James and Mary Wilson, on 8 January 1839.¹ He died in May 1849 at age 56.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     John James was the son of William James and Elizabeth Evans.² He married Mary Wilson, daughter of William Wilson.² He died on 5 November 1829.²
     He lived at Houghton Lodge, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Frances James was the daughter of John James and Mary Wilson.^2,3 She married Captain Hon. George Rolle Walpole Trefusis, son of Robert George William Trefusis, 17th Lord Clinton and Albertina Marianna Gaulis, on 8 January 1839.¹ She died on 6 March 1848.¹
     From 8 January 1839, her married name became Trefusis.

     George Rodolph Trefusis was born on 22 October 1840.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. George Rolle Walpole Trefusis and Margaret Frances James.² He died on 10 May 1867 at age 26.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹
