     Sir George Allanson Cayley, 8th Bt. was born on 31 December 1831.1 He was the son of Sir Digby Cayley, 7th Bt. and Dorothy Allanson.2 He married Catherine Louisa Worsley, daughter of Sir William Worsley, 1st Bt. and Sarah Philadephia Cayley, on 5 July 1859 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1,3 He died on 10 October 1895 at age 63 at Port Said, EgyptG.1,3 He was buried at Brompton, Yorkshire, EnglandG.3 His will was proven (by probate), at £62,274 gross and £54,522 net.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Yorkshire Hussars.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Denbighshire in 1883.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Cayley, of Brompton, co. York [E., 1661] on 21 December 1883.1

     Sir George Chad, 1st Bt. was born in 1730.1 He was the son of Robert Chad and Elizabeth Wright.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Rowles, daughter of John Rowles, in 1775.1 He married, secondly, Mary Fletcher, daughter of Edward Fletcher, in 1791.1 He died on 24 November 1815.1 His will was proven (by probate) in 1816.1
     He matriculated at Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1748.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 24 May 1749.1 He held the office of Recorder of Lynn from 1769 to 1794.1 In 1781 he inherited Pinkney Hall, Norfolk from his nephew, Charles Wright.1 He was created 1st Baronet Chad, of Thursford, co. Norfolk [Great Britain] on 28 July 1791.1
     He had six other children by his first wife.2

     Lady Mary Susan Montagu-Stuart-Wortley was born on 15 December 1861.2 She was the daughter of Hon. Francis Dudley Montagu-Stuart-Wortley and Maria Elizabeth Martin.3,2 She married Sir George Everard Arthur Cayley, 9th Bt., son of Sir George Allanson Cayley, 8th Bt. and Catherine Louisa Worsley, on 17 September 1884.1 She died on 11 December 1941 at age 79.1
     On 25 April 1900 she was granted the precedence of an earl's daughter.2

     Lieutenant Francis Digby Edward Cayley was born on 4 February 1894.1 He was the son of Sir George Everard Arthur Cayley, 9th Bt. and Lady Mary Susan Montagu-Stuart-Wortley.2 He died on 29 September 1915 at age 21, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.1

     Jacob Dedel was born on 18 March 1769 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.1 He was the son of Willem Gerrit Dedel and Jacoba Elisabeth van Wickevoort Crommelin.1 He married Cornelia Corver Hooft, daughter of Gerrit Corver Hooft and Margaretha Straalman Vrouwe van Ruwiel, on 30 August 1790 at 's-Graveland, The Netherlands.1 He died on 8 August 1797 at age 28 at Huis Gooilust, 's-Graveland, The Netherlands.1

Francis Bertie Brewis and Dorothy Katharine Walker.3 She married Major Sir Kenelm Henry Ernest Cayley, 10th Bt., son of Sir George Everard Arthur Cayley, 9th Bt. and Lady Mary Susan Montagu-Stuart-Wortley, on 17 September 1929.1 She died on 21 January 1974 at age 65.3
     Frances Elizabeth Edwyna Brewis usually went by her middle name of Elizabeth.1
